ABOUT THE AUTHOR Dr. Rose is the designer of the Rose KTM lens, now fit in over 50 countries. He has presented papers on subjects including keratoconus, aphakic GP fitting for babies, case contamination, GP lens fitting and piggyback fits. He practices optometry in Hamilton, New Zealand, specializing in keratoconus and post-graft contact lenses. He is an inaugural fellow and former president of the New Zealand Society of Contact Lens Practitioners. The author would like to thank Lee Buffalo for his valuable assistance with this article.
